FAMILY LAW

Antenuptial Contracts & Partnership Agreements

If you do not enter into an ante-nuptial contract, your marital regime will automatically be in community of property. In order for your marital regime to be out of community of property (either with or without the accrual system), the parties entering into the marriage will have to enter into an ante-nuptial contract and have the contract notarised and registered at the deeds office by a notary public.  Therefore, when you choose to get married without an antenuptial contract, your marriage will be in community of property. Book a consultation with us to enquire about the ante-nuptial contract.
